Backstage before our show at Montclair State University. Had a great time doing some improv for a full house!
Here’s the latest parody from the Absent Minded Comedy Crew. Its a spoof on Britney Spears new hit single ”Hold it Against Me”
I’m gonna be honest here about what the video is about: farting. Yeah it’s very high brow humor. But it was still fun. After all everybody poops and I’m pretty sure everybody farts too.
Featuring Walt Frasier, Laurice Fattal, Chris Catalano, Spero Chumas, Patrick Riedy and Alyson Goodman. http://www.absentmindedcomedy.com You can also catch these guys live on stage in LMAO Off-Broadway in Times Square every weekend http://www.lmao-nyc.com
PS - No offense to Britney fans. We love her new song!
Lyrics
Stay over there
Please forgive me
If it seems like somethings wrong
Its not fair, cause the pressure,
blew a hole right through my thong
Don’t come near, don’t come closer
Cause Im squeezing in my rear
And I fear..Theres no question
That the smell might make you keel
If I said I have to fart real loud
If you could escape the stench somehow
If I said I had to cut one now
Would you hold it against me?
You seem really nice
And I have constipation tonight
So if I said I had to cut one now
Would you hold it against me?
What should I do?
I know that it will kill the mood
I gotta let it out
Even though its kinda rude
Breaking in Comedy
Breaking.. (snicker. laugh. giggle).. is it OK to break? Well, your really not supposed to laugh at your own jokes. The problem is it’s usually something someone else does that makes me break. It usually happens when either a strange situation occurs in our surroundings or when somebody does something so bazaar that I lose it. It happens. Tonight when we were about to start singing for the MADRIGALS improv I lose it because another players said “focus” in a high pitched voice that just made me laugh. I was unable to sing my lines because of this happening right before we were starting the song. It was random and hilarious. There was also another time that comes to mind recently when we were doing an improv gig for a bar mitzvah. It also happened during Madrigals. We were in this Chinese buffet in a private party room where the event was taking place. Unfortunately there were many party rooms and each room was seperated by barriers that didn’t reach the ceiling. In other words, there was no sound barrier between us and the karaoke party going on in the room next to us. When we started singing we heard horrible teenage kid voices singing the lines to “Party in the USA” coming from the other room. This made me break but we were able to get through the song by singing LOUDER and match the melody to the lovely Miley Cyrus song. There was also another time that we were doing an improv gig at a retirement home. We were about to start the first scene when a lady asked me to pass her a butter knife. We were doing the show in the middle of their dining area and I happened to be standing next to a table with a butter knife. So this lady asked me to pass it to her and of course I did. It was such a bazaar situation that I lost it when I tried to talk. I guess the reason I break is usually because I am laughing at something that I’m not supposed to be laughing it. It’s tricky because once you lose it then it’s hard to get the focus back. There were many other occasions similar to these. I guess everyone is allowed a break every now and then.
